The Heart of MaMt
There are places where time seems to move a little more slowly.
I live and work in a small village in Castilla–La Mancha, where nature, tradition and the quiet rhythm of everyday life inspire everything I create. My workshop is where every handbag begins to take shape, stitch by stitch, just as things used to be made.
Behind every MaMt piece is just one pair of hands: mine.
Every handbag is crocheted one by one, patiently and with the time it deserves. I don't create pieces for a single season. I create handbags designed to stay with you for years, to grow older alongside you, and to become part of your own story.
I've always been moved by the objects that are passed down from one generation to the next. Like the handbags I inherited from my grandmother, which, more than fifty years later, still carry their beauty and purpose. That's the way I believe things should be made: creating less, creating better, and creating pieces that are meant to last.
Because things made with care never go out of style.
Perhaps true luxury is simply making things the way they used to be made.
The Time to Create

Every design starts slowly. First come the ideas, the sketches, and the search for the right materials. Then come the trials, the stitches, and the careful balance between beauty, function, and simplicity. There are no shortcuts—only time, patience, and the desire to make things well.
Once the design is ready, the real work begins. Every handbag is crocheted entirely by hand, stitch by stitch, following the natural rhythm that a piece made to last deserves.
Then come the finishing touches: checking every seam, attaching the handles, shaping the bag, and making sure every detail is exactly as it should be before it leaves the workshop.
Because the time devoted to creating each piece is never a cost.
